Patrick is focused on delivering AUSIEX’s vision of becoming Australia’s leading market utility providing equities and ETO trade execution, clearing and settlement solutions (ECS) and portfolio administration services (PAS). This will be achieved by combining the local experience and domain expertise of the AUSIEX team with NRI’s technology and strong capital markets capability. Patrick is also a Director and member of the AUSIEX Board.

Patrick is a senior executive with significant global experience and achievements in high growth fintech businesses. Prior to taking on his current role Patrick was the CFO at AUSIEX and has also held a number of other Executive roles, most notably at GBST Limited an ASX listed company, Virgin Money Australia and JDV Limited.

In this role, Kerensa leads the Finance team, who empower AUSIEX to make effective decisions by providing accurate, timely financial information and analytics. She also leads the team responsible for AUSIEX’s people-related programs, systems and processes to support the business today and for the future.

Kerensa brings to AUSIEX over 25 years of experience across financial services and technology companies. Prior to taking on her current role in October 2020, she was Chief Financial and Operations Officer of Brandon Capital Partners and Principal of On Point CFO.

An empowering and people-orientated leader, Kerensa is passionate about managing growth and change to build a successful business.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

In this role, Brett leads the Product team, who manage AUSIEX’s product suite, as well as designing and developing new product offerings. He also leads the teams responsible for our customer's experience across primary interaction channels; website, mobile app, phone and email, together with our marketing and corporate communication teams.

Brett's career spans over 30 years and, prior to his current role, he held positions with nabtrade, CommSec, Macquarie Bank and HSBC. An experienced and innovative leader, Brett joined AUSIEX in January 2022, and he brings to the business a focus on creating and executing successful strategies to optimise investment outcomes, drive product innovation, enhance customer experience, and ensure business results.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

In this role, Ben leads the teams responsible for ensuring AUSIEX's technology services are world class, from Software Delivery and Data systems to Cyber Security and Infrastructure.

Ben has 16 years’ experience in the technology space and over 13 years in financial services. With his customer centric approach, he is focused on providing the best services possible for the AUSIEX organisation and our customers.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Masaaki is a key liaison between NRI Group Companies and AUSIEX, leading the alignment of business strategies between both organisations.

Masaaki was formerly General Manager, Securities Global Project Department for NRI, where he oversaw the global business within the Securities Solutions Division.

He has more than 20 years of financial IT services experience and has been engaged in overseas business for eight years. He holds a BA in IT from Keio University, Tokyo.

In this role, he leads strategic planning for the business.

Prior to taking on his current role, Hiroki led the ex-Japan business development and alliances strategy for NRI’s Securities Solutions Division.

Hiroki has 15 years of experience in capital markets technology in Japan.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from International Christian University and Master of Business Administration from Oxford University.

In this role, Wayne leads the team who are responsible for AUSIEX’s end-to-end risk and compliance management. He also leads the team responsible for providing strategic legal and governance services and advice to the business.

A senior risk and compliance executive, Wayne joined AUSIEX in November 2022 and brings over 20 years' experience working in financial services organisations across investment banking, global markets, wealth management, asset management and securities services. Prior to joining AUSIEX he held senior roles at Commonwealth Bank, BT Financial Group, HSBC, BNP Paribas and JPMorgan.

Wayne holds Bachelor of Business (Economics) and a Master’s Degree in Management.

Te has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services and has held senior positions with Macquarie Group, Reserve Bank of New Zealand and Sequoia Financial Group.

Te joined AUSIEX in July 2022 to lead the uplift in derivatives capabilities. He is a Master Practitioner member of SIAA; incoming Chair of SIAA’s Derivatives Sub-Committee; DTR Governor and member of ASXs Risk Consultative Committee.

Te holds a Masters Degree in Applied Finance and undergraduate qualifications in Business and Arts (Psychology).

In this role, Peter leads the teams responsible for AUSIEX's end-to-end operations support. Operations manage portfolio administration services, account origination and maintenance, sponsorship and deceased estates, settlements, bookings, corporate actions, exchange traded options (ETOs), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and placements. Peter also leads the Project Management Office (PMO) team with responsibility for project management and related functions.

Peter first worked at JDV Ltd, which would later become AUSIEX, from 2001 and 2006, undertaking program management and later back office operations manager roles.

He then spent the next 16 years working for full service stockbrokers, Patersons and CPS Capital, in operations manager and general manager roles, with responsibilities for back office, compliance, finance and IT areas at various times along that journey.

Peter rejoined AUSIEX in June 2022 with a focus on bringing his full service broking experience into the business along with his background in operations management.

Peter holds a joint honours degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, is a Board Member of the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association (SIAA) and has passed the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam.
